A Little Taste of DC

Right before we came to DC, we heard from EVERYONE about their restaurants here. Everyone telling us how phenomenal the food is. So of course we have to try it.

SO my absolute favorite food is Thai food (Its also one of Kurts favorite) But the only restaurant I have found that I really like is called Cholada that is in LA. ( It is impossible to find a good thai restaurant in Utah, we tried.)
But we discovered the building right right next ours is a thai restaurant so of course our first night here, we went :)

So I have good news and bad news. The good news..... This place was amazing! The place was so fancy& clean. And the food was delicious. The bad news.... We now have to go the gym atleast 3 times a day since this restaurant is just next door.

Our friends Nicole and Raage took us to Nandos. They had been there when they served their missions in London and said it was amazing. This restaurant is super good! They told us that it is the only Nandos here in the United States. So we were way excited to go.
Now for our exciting adventure of the day. Today we met with everyone in the washington seminar program and headed towards the Capital building.
We met a judge from the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, a very prestigious court, who showed us his court room and chambers. He was an awesome guy and had great stories to tell.  He answered all the questions we had, and gave great and unique advice.  It was very cool to hear him talk about his career and being lds. He definitely got a lot of the washington seminar interns to look at things in a different way.
We were also able to meet four of his interns which graduated at the top of their class from Yale, Harvard, University of Virginia, and Stanford. I think Kurt was a little intimidated, but that only motivates him even more :)
