Reid, Air, Space, Thor, What?

Yesterday we went with the Washington seminar group to the Capitol building. Here we got to have a Q and A session with Harry Reid.
It was interesting, we aren't allowed to give our opinions over the internet. So if you would like to know what we thought just ask us in person.  I'm sure you will be pretty entertained by them :)
After the Capitol building, we decided to go see the Jefferson Memorial. As we were walking out of our apartment, we saw a sign on our light post.
Hmmm... Creepy. (if you can't read it, it says... " Follow Me <- I have candy"
And this is the alley the arrow was pointing to. Hah welcome to DC?
Anyways, off to the memorial. Such a LONG walk. There probably is an easier way to get to it. But of course we only found the long way.
And then we ended the day at wal-mart. Ha, such an exciting way to spend a Friday night we know. But the wal-mart is all the way in Alexandria Virginia. And the only grocery store by us is Trader Joes, which is an awesome store... for someone who isn't a poor college student. So hey it was exciting to us.
Today we went to the Space and Air museum!
...........
Woop.
....
Op. He remembers.
SO.. At first we thought that was a rocket ship (behind him) But nope, that is a missile.
And so are these.
Gigantic? Yes. Way cool to see up close. you don't really realize how big they are until you one day decide to go to an air and space museum.

Random picture. But hey I thought it was cool.
So we got to go play all day. And then for date night we went to a movie.
My choice was: Something Borrowed or Water for Elephants.
His choice: Thor
Winner: Thor
Good choice hubby. The movie was awesome. And now knowing how expensive it is to see a movie out here. I think I will just wait until the other two come out to netflix :)
