It definitely puts everything into perspective. Especially since we had only seen everything happen on TV. It is a very in-explainable feeling you get when you are there. If you dont know much about the memorial, for every person who died, they have bench for them with their name on it. Underneath the bench is water and on the side it shows the family they had died with. They put a lot of thought into this memorial. With every bench they have a trail leading to the side showing the date of birth. The benches are organized by age the youngest being at the beginning which was about 2 years old all the way to the oldest ( I can't remember what the ages were.) The benches pointing towards the Pentagon are the ones who were in the pentagon and the ones pointing away from it are the ones who were in the plane.
